Sweet Lover

Sweet Lover

Poetic ramblings spill forth

For I have a liquored tongue this night

I want to scream to the world

I have found true love

In the same breath I want to condemn you

For you have gone past the borders of

My heart and become buried

Within my soul

Sweet lover that I have never touched

I know your soft subtle kiss

Upon my mouth

The feel of your flesh beneath my hands

Your warm loving embrace

Taking away the daemons that haunt my mind

Anger rises

Unwanted for I am weak

With passion

To hold the one who knows

I am damaged

Accepting

Me

I could never know

You

Sweet Lover
